Inspire Tile Design

Develop a brand to portray Inspire as a professional, creative and quality company with an emphasis on workmanship and relationships. The company has a solid reputation of bespoke solutions, approachability and modern style. A brand refresh that demonstrates their style and design abilities in the Wairarapa will support Inspire’s brand extension and diversification. The brand will work in both the retail space and the commercial environments.

The design of the logo set is bold, crisp, and modern. It combines the primary wordmark ‘Inspire’ with a geometric symbol, inspired by the form and patterns of tiles. The typeface chosen for the word ‘Inspire’ is a sans-serif which is bold and clear, and stands out upon background imagery. The angled edge of the ‘I’ in ‘Inspire’ provides a subtle interest and creative flair, as well a complementing the diagonal lines of the icon.

The symbol brings together geometric shapes and lines to represent tiles. The icon is clean, bold, and dynamic; referencing Inspire’s modern style and versatility. The design is comprised of two tiles: an elaborate patterned square, and a simple triangle;
